To be alive is to be vulnerable.
In her bestselling book, The Gifts of Imperfection, Brené Brown writes, “We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness, and affection.” This is the complete opposite of active sex and porn addiction, where we run from rather than embrace our thoughts, feelings, needs, and vulnerabilities.
Task for Today
Be vulnerable. Offer your true self to another person.
