When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you.

Porn-Induced Erectile Dysfunction (PIED) is a common consequence of porn addiction in males. Often, male porn addicts can achieve erections and orgasms with porn, but they struggle with one or both when they’re with a real-world partner. Many such men say they can only maintain an erection and achieve orgasm with a real-world partner, even someone to whom they feel deeply attracted, by replaying porn clips in their mind during the sexual act. Moreover, a significant percentage of male porn addicts say they prefer pornography to real-world sex, saying they find it more intense and more engaging. For these men, real-world romantic and sexual relationships can be difficult, even when such relationships are deeply desired.

Task for Today
Consider your relationship with porn versus your relationship with an actual partner. Talk about this in therapy or a 12-Step meeting.
