This co-ed drop-in discussion group is for any partner of an addict who is dealing with attachment issues as they relate to addiction. This group is a bit different than the other drop-in groups found on SexandRelationshipHealing.com, as it’s designed to provide support for group members by using the Finding Peace Worksheet. The worksheet explores how attachment wounds (such as loss, rejection, neglect, abandonment, betrayal, and abuse) are triggered while helping users identify core needs and make choices that fit best within their value system and desired outcomes. Group participants will walk through the worksheet while getting feedback and support from other group members.
This group is not recorded but does allow you to turn on your video camera so you can see and be seen by others in the group. You have the option of turning off your camera to remain more anonymous if you so choose. Either way, we ask that you keep your microphone muted until you wish to speak so that any background noise is not disruptive to the group.
