A quiet conscience makes one strong.

A primary goal for most recovering sex addicts is developing what noted sex addiction therapist Rob Weiss refers to as sexual integrity. Of course, defining and living a life of sexual integrity is not always easy. Still, every person, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religious background, emotional/psychological issues, or any other life-defining factors (for instance, an issue with sex, porn, or love addiction), could and probably should consider implementing sexual integrity. This means that before engaging in any sexual activity—casual, committed, or something in-between—each person should know what it is that matters to him or her both sexually and interpersonally, not just in the moment but in the longer-term. Once we’ve sufficiently defined those boundaries, we are much less likely to engage in sexual activity that will cause emotional distress to ourselves or others either during or after.

Just for Today
Think about the ways in which you violated your sexual integrity while active in your addiction.
