There is a common perception is that only men are sex addicts. This is not true. Plenty of women are sexually addicted. That said, men are usually easier to diagnose because they are generally more forthcoming about the purely sexual nature of what they are doing. Women, on the other hand, tend to talk about their issue in terms of relationships, even when they’re having just as much sex, and the same types of sex, as their male counterparts.
