When things go wrong, don’t go with them.
The core signs and symptoms of sexual addiction are generally the same regardless of age, race, gender, social history, and psychological underpinnings. For instance, nearly all sex addicts experience withdrawal. With sex addiction, withdrawal tends to manifest not so much physically, as sometimes occurs with substance abuse (i.e., delirium tremens when detoxing from alcohol), but emotionally and psychologically. In withdrawal, sex addicts tend to become depressed and anxious, or restless, irritable, and discontent.
Just for Today: Try to think about being in a poor mood as a form of withdrawal. If you can do this, it may help you feel better.
